I couldn't finish.

Not sure if all versions are the same, but the Kindle version has 0 quotations of when a person is speaking. It can make it difficult to read & understand who is or isn't talking.

DNF - I just could not get past the technical jargon and the lack of quotation marks.

It was okay. Mostly just not my cup of tea.
It took "well-researched" a bit too far and my eyes glazed over with references to scientific publications over and over again. And it didn't help that I couldn't stand Anna.

Oof. This was a much heavier book than I anticipated. The author uses volcanoes to move the plot along, and as an allegory for Anna's life. Writing style was different, and not just because it was translated from Icelandic. I am not used to books with no quotes.
