Truly terrifying! The description of the cold eyes of the Great White looking directly at the men is chilling. The possibility of such leviathans roaming the seas is quite real too, unfortunately. A great read, indeed!

I LOVE jaws…the film. this was so vastly different. the actual parts involving the shark were fantastic, and i expected it to be so. but the rest of the book…odd. there were some random things that seemed racist to me, and then there’s the whole cheating arc. i felt so uncomfortable reading it, and it was so descriptive, i just felt like i was in a bag and was slowly being vacuum sealed. and the mafia crap was super random.
2 stars only for the shark side of the story.
