An overview of culture differences in different spectrum, not in depth, but good enough to raise awareness:
- Low context (explicit) vs High context (implicit) communication
- Direct vs Indirect negative feedback
- Principle vs Application first persuading method. And a completely different one which is holistic way of viewing problem.
- Egalitarian vs Hierarchy leadership
- Consensual vs Top-down decision making
- Task-based vs Relationship-based trusting
- Confrontational vs Harmony
- Linear-time vs Flexible-time scheduling.

The categorization is based more on author's personal experiences, observations, the book contains a lot of anecdotes. Author sometimes mentioned some scientific researches, however it bugged me abit that there's no references to those researches, maybe it's just an audiobook problem?

Another great non fiction read that I think anyone would benefit from reading.
Especially if you are working in international business, but just general communication with people from other countries and cultures too.

Using 8 different scales, Erin describes all the ways countries can differ in their working styles and how it’s important to understand cultural backgrounds and differences to work more efficiently with others.

Well written, with entertaining stories throughout the book!
