This was such a great story. Without going into plot details, I will just say, it is action-packed and suspenseful with some fun and romance tied in. I laughed out loud and swooned as I sat on the edge of my seat reading this story wanting to know what happens next.
Separately, I loved Derek's and Jillian's works, together they are seriously amazing! I hope they continue to work together. The flow of their writing is seamless and I love seeing both points of view. I absolutely can't wait to see what they bring us next whether it be solo work or they work together again. I can't wait to read what they have next!

This book is not one of my usual go to picks, but it blew me away! Due Soldati is an action packed mystery and romance all rolled into one. I truly enjoyed it!
Carter is a Detective who enjoys working alone. He is good at his job but is assigned a partner, Nick. Nick is willing to put in the work and is a little different then Carter. I love how this relationship fell into place!
The amazing banter, great comebacks, and a fast paced book make Due Soldati a great read! I will definitely be checking out more by both authors!!

Wow. What a crazy ride. There's just so much of the book that I love. There's crazy action and drama. It's a fantastic detective book. The story is so good. The characters are fantastic. I was so immersed in this book it was almost real. There's just a story line that was just hinted at that I wanted more information about. Other than that it was fantastic.

Due Soldati, a story about two cops, Carter and Nick, who are assigned to each other as new partners on the same day that a huge case falls in their lap, is a fanstasitc read. I was absorbed in the story and found it hard to put down. I loved the characterisations and that it was much more than a ‘cold, hard case’ kind of story. 5 Stars.
