“Every person has the power to change their fate if they are brave enough to fight for what they desire more than anything.”

Words can’t describe how much I LOVED this book! I bought the whole series a while ago and have been worried to start it for fear it didn’t add up to the hype.

I laughed, I cried, I kicked my feet with happiness, I giggled with delight. Honestly, the book was everything I was hoping for and more.

I was gripped from the very first chapter and I LOVE JULIAN!! From the moment he entered the book I was in love!

I loved the sisterly bond between Scarlett and Donatella and it added to the suspense and dramatics how much Scarlett wanted to find her sister. Having a sister myself, I understood the importance of finding the one that you love.

Although I didn’t love the choice between Tella and Julian at the end of the book, I loved the fact that throughout the book we weren’t sure whether Scarlett would pick Tella over Julian, but in the end she never had to choose. It was a great choice for Stephanie Garber to make.

I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style and the pictures Stephanie Garber painted of this magical world. I had to refer to the map a couple of times, but I loved the way everything felt real and I could really see the different places in my mind’s eye.

A very, very good book and I look forward to continuing the series!! 5⭐️
