I love Lucy Lennox books, and I will read anything she published. That being said, I expected more of Inheriting Miss Fortune. I was so looking forward to Dev's story, and don't get me wrong, it's sweet, and hot, and I love the story around Dev's daughter, but I missed some chemistry and relationship building between Dev and Tully.

Mixing law and romance does not work well. The random horny comments about looks felt inappropriate. I wish I enjoyed this more, but this was a disappointment.

Love, family, and a tiny cowgirl princess

I loved, loved this unexpected fatherhood healing romance with a side of bad parents. This heartwarming story will give you all the swoony swoons while also pulling at your heartstrings with all the deep emotions. Dev lives on a ranch in small town Majestic, Wyoming working with horses. He’s also a secret billionaire along with his brotherhood of friends. He finally feels like he’s found a home in the ranch. Tully is a wills and estate attorney at a prestigious firm in Dallas. When his best friend dies unexpectedly in a car accident, it is his job to bring her 15 month old daughter to the guardian named in her will, Dev, Lellie’s biological father. Of course, Dev and Tully met previously and shared one spicy night before Dev’s sperm donation that resulted in Tellie and neither of them has been able to stop thinking of that night. Dev and Tully initially appear to be on opposing sides. Despite this, their chemistry sizzled off the page and it pulled them together no matter how hard they tried to resist. As Dev, Tully, and Lellie spend more time together the deeper the connection becomes but to get to their HEA they’ll need baggage unpacking, life course correction, and truth telling all the while fending off a custody battle. This well written story included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and a captivating storyline as shown through sweet moments, spicy scenes, snort worthy laughs, heart squeezing big feels, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, passion, acceptance, and all the heart squeezing love. I am excited to read the HEAs for the rest of the quirky loving brotherhood.
