One of the best Beatrix Potter books! It’s brilliantly clever. As I read it now, I understand why- the little mice are like children, the dolls are like adults. As someone who played with dollhouses, the frustration with beautiful but inedible shiny plastic food! Being uncontrollably messy whilst everyone around is so neat and controlled..
The redemptive parts where the mice repay favours to the dolls (shhh, no spoilers) are brilliant. But I love that the mice are still irredeemably naughty and do what they want!

Uma narrativa hilária, de dois ratinhos que resolvem roubar uma casinha de bonecas. Divertido.

Hahaha..... this is funny.... those bad mice got deceived by a plaster food. And they insisted to off their marks.
