I liked Oro but he just gave such golden retriever vibes like giving in to her every whim and babying her, he just felt weak and a pushover, not in a hot way. I kind of felt bad for him just loving her but we never vibe the love interest being blonde. I loved the flash backs as she regained her memories and seeing her and Grim. It’s what kept me going. An actual enemies to lovers everyday of the week. I was team Grim the whole way through.

4.5 stars. WTH did I just read. The ending…you’ve GOT to be kidding me. I will say, the story is a little drawn out, I found myself feeling that some chapters could have been shorter or were unnecessary. BUT, I do love the buildup of the love story. I am torn in deciding who to choose. I love Oro, he is perfect and patient. He knows she is the love of his life and accepts her for her. But Grim, I love him too. He fights for their love, but the betrayal seems too big. How is she supposed to choose him when she wasn’t given a choice. I like the character building of the different realms and “others”. The plot is okay. It is interesting, a little too much of a plot if that makes sense, and I am not sure where this book is going. Are we going to get an after for the third book and have the fourth be something else entirely, that part is what makes this rating a 4.5. But overall, I 100% recommend reading this book, it will have you confused but in a good way.
