I was looking for a fluffy romance and this delivered. The book was too long but felt like a semi-realistic chain of events, especially regarding Aaron. I was a little frustrated by the FMC’s commitment to her skating partnership, especially since she was acknowledging how toxic Aaron could be. Sometimes she was kind of immature and then she was super emotionally mature the rest of the book. The MMC’s characterization was a little flat too, like he was made out to be the perfect protective book boyfriend. The ending was a far stretch too. But in general I enjoyed the characters, the side characters, the general happenings of the book. I will definitely read more in the series when I want another fluffy romance!

The amount of nicknames and duo pov makes it hard to follow sometimes. Especially if you did not read the book for a few days. Sex scene was ok. Not as graphic as what I thought with all the TikTok hype. 

Parts of the story made me so angry though. Definitely check your triggers. It’s not that graphic when it comes to triggers, but would be nice to know. TikTok didn’t say anything about those…

This book took me a while to get through just because I got busy but it was a very enjoyable read. It didn’t feel to corny love story and the ups and downs weren’t to crazy. Hannah Grace is an amazing author and really made me loathe the characters the were supposed to be hated and looove the characters that were supposed to be loved. This book was an amazing read cover to cover. Also veeeery discreet, did not expect all that smut in a book with such a cute cover.
