I was so happy to get Keegan and Kerry’s story. Their chemistry was an untapped mine dying to reveal its secrets. Keegan has been through so much, but I love his strength and resilience. Kerry has lived through his own trauma following the death of his sister and the fallout of subsequent events, shutting down his emotional attachments to anyone other than his family. Kerry’s family, especially Sven, have all but adopted Keegan, already knowing he’s one of them. Kerry may be reluctant, but he’s not immune to Keegan’s charms, and Keegan wants to be there for Kerry as he and the Hart’s Creek rescue business Kerry owns take on a ruthless liar making false allegations. This one is a little lighter, with a bit more laughter and some fun shenanigans (thanks Sven and Dom). It delivers on the HEA and promises another amazing book on the horizon.

“I found my special someone, and I’m keeping you.” Awww, it’s so true: the bigger they are, the harder they fall. And I couldn’t be happier that Kerry fell head over heels for Keegan, and then some. These two had my heart doing somersaults with happiness. Keegan especially holds a special place in my heart, and seeing the amazing man he is was all I had hoped for him. His and Kerry’s love story was exactly the hug I needed, and if you gave me a choice, I’d choose these two any day.

Kerry and Keegan working together to get their HEA is such a beautiful mess of a story. Of course, I mean this in the best way. There is such chemistry between them even while they are working on themselves.

You will enjoy this story more if you’ve read the previous books in the series.

These men of Redemption Ridge never fail to make me swoon over how caring, tender and loving they are towards their partners and found family. And the communication levels?! Very very acceptable.

I love that Keegan was not made to be a weak character just because he went through horrible trauma. He was strong, snarky and refused to take less than what he deserved and I was soo here for it.

Kerry was unexpectedly more deep than I thought he would be, he was annoying me a lil bit for a with the back and forth feelings (even though they were understandable given his history) but eventually got it together and was exactly what my bby Keegan needed
