This book was just okay. I didn't really get Mona or any of the relationships in the book. I just didn't see it really. Of course Adam was lame, and Mike was dreamy? I don't know. The end was also...I didn't like it.

Started out as a funny satire and ended as a tired cliche

i loved this book. it reminded me of the movie "the ugly truth" because thats how i imagine the characters. i was totally laughing at the ending of the book from the play on. great read and to think i got it dirt cheap at dollar general.

Reinventing Mona is book about a woman that falls in love with a man that she barely knows, harbors those feeling for 7 years, and then hires someone to help her get him. Changing yourself to “win” a man is never a good idea. What if the man isn’t who you thought he was? What if it turns out you really don’t like him? These are only a few of Mona’s struggles in this book.

Mona is annoying in the beginning and the outcome is predictable, but it wasn't horrible. I've read worse.

Cute and feel good, but the writing felt flat at times and the ending was...unexpected to say the least.

It was hard to root for the main character. She was just not likable. The author completely lost me toward the end of the book. It felt like it was rushed and totally unbelievable

Good

It was good, funny, not necessarily mind blowingly good, but it was an enjoyable read. There were some parts that had confused me as it skipped around a little, but then I got the general idea as to what was going on.
