The art and story were really nice! Noé’s backstory was interesting. And his childhood friend Dominique is already quite the character (I think she’s a good contrast to Noé and his niaveté).
This volume also introduced a lot of vampire related world building, which I found fascinating. I can’t say I like Vanitas that much, personally, but I do find him intriguing.
