Book number 4 in the Irresistibly Yours series and by far my favorite! It follows NFL QB Asher & Orthopedic Surgeon Wynter. She is called in to repair his shoulder but plot twist this isn’t the firs they are meeting & they have a son together. I love seeing their story come together, Asher is the perfect mmc. This book just had all the vibes!!

From book one I had a feeling that Asher Reyes was going to be my absolute favorite person in this series and I was not wrong. I can happily say with 100% no doubt that this man not only met my expectations but he went above and beyond. Hi, I’m Courtney and I am a certified Asher Reyes freak and proud.

When Asher and Wynter have their very first encounter the attraction and chemistry is overflowing, but too any drinks and things just go side ways. Asher has many regrets when it comes to that night with her and he spends a lot of time thinking of that night, wanting the girl that stole his breath away and a redo. When life throws Wynter back into Asher’s path he isn’t only excited to see her again he knows there’s something special about her and wants to explore, there’s only one problem, she doesn’t remember him.

Wynter is an incredible surgeon that worked hard for her career, she still struggles with her past and the way her biological dad abandoned her, but above all she is an amazing mom. She has her own insecurities that have her keeping people especially men, even more, football players at arm’s length so when her life becomes deeply involved with Asher’s he has his work cut out for him. Asher fell hard and wasn’t going to let Wynter run away because he would always chase her, he just had to show her he wasn’t like others and would always put her and Mason first.

The chemistry and banter between them was hilarious and I lived for it. Asher’s ability to always seem upbeat and make others smile made me fall hard for him because he had a huge heart that loved hard and never gave up. The twists keep you glued to the story while the steam will have you sweating and blushing. This is by far my favorite story out this series and I know you guys are tired of me comparing all the author’s men to her amazing creation that is Jasper Diamond, but let me say there have been a few that have came very close to reaching Jasper status in my book boyfriend world and yet I have admit I’m positive Asher Reyes just blew past my Jasper top spot

Asher and Wynter meet the night Asher winds the Super Bowl. Their one night stand without names leaves Wynter a single mom. She has now finished medical school and returns from residency abroad to be in Boston close to her mom and step-dad. She finds herself being called upon by the Boston Rebels football team to perform shoulder surgery on their star QB. Asher immediately remembers Wynter and his less than stellar performance. Everything falls apart/into place after that of your Wynter or Asher. Wynter is strongly against getting involved football players based on deep rooted past events. But Asher is adamant that she will fall in love with him and he works so hard but at Wynter’s pace to wear her down.

Asher is absolutely perfect! He is a man completely gone for his woman from their very first night. Even though the night did not go well at all, Asher wanted Wynter for a year and a half. Once he sees her again it’s game over for him. His nickname for her is perfect. Wynter is so fierce and protective of her son and herself after all the ways she has been let down and perceived in the past.

This is by far Julie’s best. The character development was incredible. But more than that, she moved up the spice hierarchy to smut! And. I. Am. Here. For. It!

I nearly DNF'd this book on Ch. 2....

One thing that is a big annoyance of mine is when the entire plot is basically given away within the first few chapters. That happened here and I nearly DNF'd this book because of it. However, it was a new author for me and I really wanted to give them a chance. I will say while it was fairly predictable, Asher's heart is what made me continue. His love, determination, and fiercely protective nature towards Wynter, not to mention he never had to take a moment for a second when the "secret" was revealed. He was all in.

Truly if it wasn't for the utter sweet, with some freaking amazing spice, I'd probably wouldn't have continued. So I say give it a chance, however you can expect it to be fairly predictable.
