The plot was a bit predictable. Hate the Guardians name reveal. There is a nice flow to the book and I like that the FMC isn't a helpless maiden and has a backbone.

I was prepared to be iffy on this but by the 50% mark, I could not put it down. My annoyance with the paragraphs of questions isn’t a reason to knock it down because in the end I ate this marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers up with every twist and turn that I didn’t see coming.

This gave me the same feelings as reading ACOTAR and ACOMAF but with an even grittier side given the monster hunting and the gore of it all.

I can’t wait for the second book.
