What a whirlwind this book was! Was some of the plot line predictable? Yes. But there were so many turns that it kept this book moving and engaging.

This is my first Devney Perry read and I absolutely LOVED it. This book is top tier romantasy. I did guess the twist but it was still satisfying when the entire story unfolds. The slow burn 🤌🏻 and the spice 🥵 but the cliffhanger left me hanging so hard. I can’t wait to continue this series, just thinking about it makes me YEARN.

Some times when you think you know where the story is driving it does a good job of surprising you with a good twist. Excellent world building classic fantasy monster world but with new monsters
Loved it! Definitely an interesting and slowly developing world building. Still tough to really figure out how it will play out and who the villains will be. The creature attacks are an intriguing element you don’t see often.
