After sitting on my shelf and renewing them twice from the library I finally started reading these (after stopping at volume two and not reading much of anything) again. I ended up tearing through them in a couple of days because I needed to know what happened!

The story flows so nicely. You're caught in this twilight time. It's not a tv show, it's not a novel, it's both. The suspense is definitely edge-of-your-seat and with each cliffhanger ending you automatically start reaching for the next volume.

By the end, most questions are answered, though to me, seemingly the most important question wasn't. Arrgh! But I guess that's perfect that way. It is truly a fantastic series. Characters are rich and life like. I can to care about characters I didn't think I would have in the beginning and by the time I got to the last volume I wanted to cheer or exclaim out loud.

Now that I'm done with this, I suppose, as I've been told, I should start on Pluto! Library, here I come!

TLDR: Another strong entry in the series. If you've been enjoying the volumes up to this point then you will enjoy this one also. I would not recommend starting at this point, but rather to go back to the beginning and start from there.

Longer Review: Overall, another solid volume. This volume really focuses on Richard from the previous novel. The suspense throughout the volume is excellent. I meant to read a chapter a day over 10 days, but enjoyed the volume so much that I ended up the volume in just 2 days. This volume focuses much less on Tenma and more on the other characters like Johan and Richard. There are many other characters that get much more developed in this volume too, but I don't want to make an extensive list.
I really liked how they redeemed Richard's character in this volume as well. Up until this point, I didn't really know how I felt about him. This volume flushes out his character though. In addition to this, they finally make Johan actually scary. Not that he hasn't been scary up to this point, but we as readers have not really seen how he works. So to finally see him in action is very exciting. We can see how he is persuasive and calculating and it really helps to show how he is a formidable antagonist.
Overall, I enjoyed it and look forward to continuing the series.

Still interesting but why couldn't tenma just shoot him when he first saw him
