It was good. Madoc wasn't really main character material in my opinion. And the whole thing felt kind of rushed. Not as good as the first two in the series.

Audiobook (Libby) - such a cute lighter side questionable romance story between two step siblings with no familiar relations outside of divorced parents who married one another.
Love that they ended up not only together but married to get around horrid mother/step mother problems who likes to take  ones personal issues out on the child.

Madoc and Fallon might be one of my favorite Penelope Douglas couples.

I enjoyed this read. It was wondering if it would be like Bully. It was great, but it could have had more knowledge into their past. Also, I thought Madoc and Fallon had great chemistry, beside the fact that
Spoilerthey're step siblings that then married each other.
I feel bad for Fallon because
Spoilerher mother forced her into getting an abortion
, which is a difficult subject to talk about. I thought that if there was more background to that story, I may have raised the rating to a 4.5. I didn't like Madoc in the first book because he was bullying Tate along with Jared. However, in this book, I got to see a different side of his character. The side that is vulnerable and kind. Trustworthy and intelligent. I liked Fallon too. She showed two sides of herself, which everyone can identity on some level. First, she has the sweet side that is likeable and outgoing. Second, she has the kiss-ass side that is mean, harsh, and threatening. But overall, she is just a normal 18 year old who is going through life. This was a great NA read. Can't wait for Falling Away.
