Though this graphic novel series makes a lot more sense than the TID one, it’s still not great to see how many scenes get either shorten or just cut off completely. I don’t want an exact replica of TMI in graphic novel form but c’mon give me something to hold onto.

Besides that, I really liked the addition of that scene where Simon went to the Hotel Dumort by himself… it was great!

I feel the art style growing a bit more on me with each volume. My favorite is Jace and though Clary still looks a bit ridiculous, Izzy, Simon and Alec really improved in this one.

It’s still pretty meh though.

This is the third instalment of TMI graphic novels! I loved everything about this one too. Such a great plot and beautiful artwork. I’m so glad I get to dive back into the world of Shadowhunters

There was one exchange between Alec and Jace that I don’t remember happening in the book. And if it did and I forgot it, that makes me a little sad. If it has been added, I am nothing but delighted.
I continue to enjoy reliving this story through this new format and gorgeous art.
