Highest Bidder was another fun addition to this series. I loved the characters. The only issue I had was one thing that connected them to each other. The rest was a bunch of fun. I'm curious to find out what's next in the series.

Highest Bidder is the fifth book in the Salacious Players Club series. It’s about the richest man that attends the club, 56 year old Ronan Kade, who we’ve met in previous installments. Daisy is a 21 year old drinks server at Salacious, who is more connected to Ronan than he knows. After he wins a date with Daisy (who lost a bet with her friend the bartender Geo to get up on the auction block) they begin an intense amount of time together with him inviting her to live with him in his penthouse, a trip to Paris, and him helping her discover her kinky side.

This is another winning addition in this series! Sara always infuses these books with emotion, big heart, and steam, and this one was no exception. Ronan and Daisy are two people with hidden grief, who find understanding with each other which was beautiful to read.

this just... was not it for me. the FMC's inner dialogue when it came to the MMC was just too much for me at some points. if that would have been different, I honestly think I would have liked this one more. plus, that twist towards the end? unnecessary. and that's coming from someone who enjoys that trope

I ate this book right up.

Like all the other books in the series, miss sara cate don’t miss.

I love a good 10 year age gap, but this 30 year age gap was really gapping but I was not mad at it.

Daisy is such a lovely fmc. But daddy Ronan🥵😮‍💨, did not know he had a soft side to him based on his appearance in the other books. Nonetheless I enjoyed every minute and moment between the two😭

This series be so emotional though 😭😭? Got me tearing up on both they back stories, my god.
