This is basically the pathetic loser's version of reading Capital. Which is fine with me.
Interesting how little political structures have really changed.
I found the majority of this book to be mindless ramblings of old political struggles. However I found it interesting that the political structures and social relationships described seemed to not of changed much in the modern world. It described very well the exploitation of labor of capitalist markets.

Más allá de que personalmente no simpatizo con el comunismo creo que este es un libro que hay que leer ya que esun clásico del pensamiento político y económico. Se lee muy fácilmente, son apenas unas decenas de páginas escritas en un lenguaje llano. Algunas cosas quedaron viejas pero las críticas al capitalismo eran apropiadas y algunas lo siguen siendo hasta el día de hoy. Entre las cosas que proponen Marx y Engels en este libro se enumera la educación gratuita y la erradicación del trabajo infantil, cosas que hoy nadie tildaría de "extremistas". Esta edición en particular, con ilustraciones y diferentes versiones del prólogo del libro, es muy bella.
read for class. marx remains such a powerful and deeply incisive writer…there’s so much here that’s just teeming with righteous anger and fury at exploitation. foundational. i get goosebumps each time.
