While I fell in love with all of the characters and felt deeply connected to all of them, there was something missing from the book. I think it had to do with the structure of the plot, which made the story drag on in parts.

Not my favourite TJR outing.
While I enjoyed Nina as a main character, she was missing something that made me connect with the main characters of the other TJR books I’ve read.
The book overall had too many side characters and I felt like a lot of things were brought up only to be dropped immediately and not returned to. There were a few little plot holes sprinkled in there and, while they weren’t plot-ruining, it just felt lazy.
