Graphic: Car accident, Death of parent, Alcoholism, Drug abuse, Terminal illness, and Suicide
Moderate: Abortion, Infidelity, and Islamophobia

The writing style of the first ~50 pages sounded so pretentious - as if the author desperately wants his book to be talked about in high schools.
It got better after that and was easy to read (which kinda saved it from a really bad rating), but contemporary literature about the regrets and tragedies in the life of a middle aged white guy just isn't my jam.
