Hollins and Larissa meet at a local bar while he is in town to receive an award. His at exactly the right place to help her out with an ex situation. From the minute they met there was instant sparks flying.
What they didn't expect was that meeting in that bar was going to be a game changer for both of them.
What started as one helping the other, ends up both of them helping each other out with other events they dort want to attend alone. Spending so much time together getting to know each other better feelings develop and now they are questioning their futures.
What they wanted before is it still what they want or do they want someone else with them sharing their future journeys
Definitely a good one for me. I enjoyed Crew and River but fell I love with Hollins from the start of this story. He was sweet and charming but so a bit closed off. Not too bad on the angst but definitely some secrets that you can't wait to uncover

Thanks so much to Adriana Locke for the audio copy to listen to and review!! I’ve been excited to read Larissa (cousin to the Mason family) and Hollis’s (Paige Carmichael’s brother) story and this book definitely lived up to my expectations and deserves all 5 stars! Fake dating, sports romance, small town (ish) are just some of the tropes in this book!
This book follows Hollis, a college football player visiting Savannah, GA to accept an award from Lincoln Landry (Landry family series) for his charity work. When Larissa needs a fake boyfriend to get her ex to leave her alone, Hollis is the perfect candidate. During his time in Savannah, they enter into a “relationship pact” (lol) to be each other’s fake date to a couple of events (Lincoln Landry’s house, a fundraising dinner Larissa is roped into) but something decidedly less fake is growing between the two.
Listening to this as an audiobook was such a good experience. The narrators and story were amazing, and I was hooked immediately. It also made walking my dog in the cooling weather much more bearable because at least I had this audiobook to look forward to. I loved this book so much and now am probably gonna go ahead and reread the Mason family series again since every time they popped up in the book, I was hit with nostalgia! Seriosuly- go read/listen to this book now!!

“We weren't put on this earth to be alone.”
First read of the year and already a 5 star! (Hopefully a good sign... :D)
This book was so so sweet! I loved Larissa's curiousity and kindness, and Hollis was such a charming yet vulnerable hero. Their banter and chemistry was so much fun to read; even though their romance takes place over only a short period of time, the way they were able to open up with each other on a deeper level made their relationship feel both realistic and enduring. I just loved how much the story was grounded in emotion and connection, and how Larissa and Hollis were able to help and be there for each other. The community of characters that surrounded the main two were great too: Grandma Judy (!!), Bellamy/Boone, River/Crew via phone, etc. Adriana Locke's writing was compelling and easy to read; this is the first book I've read by this author, and I will definitely be looking into her others! Maybe the Bellamy/Coy one next? :)
I usually get frustrated by NA but this was really heartfelt and I’ve enjoyed the whole series.
Also delighted to add a new author— looking forward to reading Coy and Bellamy’s story

I have loved this entire series and hate that it's only 3 books. I want so much more! Hollis, I just want to hug him, I loved him so much. I loved the meet, the fun, everything between him and Larissa. And Judy, such an amazing secondary character! The advice she gave, the little speech she gave Hollis was so perfect. If you've read adriana locke before, you also get some bonus Lincoln Landry in here too. If you haven't, no worries, it's a total stand alone for Hollis and Larissa. All three books were so darn good, great binge reading for sure. I wish I had better words to describe how fantastic these books are
A pleasant new adult story about fate, kindness and love
➵ Heroine: Larissa Mason is a loving soul who’s been disillusioned one time too many and is ready to give up on love. She’s especially reluctant to date athletes.
➵ Hero: Star football player, Hollis Hudson is a man of many talents. He has wonderful abs, is good at football, he has musical aptitudes and is smooth with women. But underneath all the swagger, lays a vulnerable, closed off man who believes he’s unloveable.
➵ Plot: Larissa and Hollis meet at a bar and in less than five minutes they’re bargaining a relationship pact where they help each other out pretending to be dating while Hollis is in town. As they find reasons to help each other out and spend time together, their connection grows.
➵ Feels: Even though Hollis and Larissa meet and fall in love in the span of week, their chemistry is tangible and they’re perfect for one another. She pushes him to open up with her genuine interest in getting to know him.
The secondary characters not only help Hollis and Larissa in their relationship but also lend so much in the feels department. I LOVED Judy, Hollis’ adopted grandma and Bellamy, Larissa’s BFF, provided so much entertainment.
➵ Facts: The Relationship Pact is a standalone romance by Adriana Locke. It’s book #3 of the Kings of Football series. It is told from both points of view, and has a happy ending. Sub-genres: Insta-love | College Football
➵ Overall rating: 4
