The first two paragraphs of this book absolutely hit you like a steam train (check trigger warnings).  

The rest of the book is intriguing enough, not one likeable character throughout…including the kids!

I understand why the end is the way that it is but, not gonna lie, it pissed me off and was very unsatisfying 😕
