Amazingly done

Holy heck balls, yes!! This is so amazingly done that even though this is a veryyy dark book, I still couldn't help buy sympathize with Ophelia throughout the entirety.

Don't get me wrong, there are some very triggery things happening (cheating, rape, torture, murder) throughout so do take the warnings seriously but if you can read & do like this type of material - you should read it. You will have so many emotions and LK Reid definitely takes you on a ride that has you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next!

I don't even know what to say about Kieran, except that you'll need to experience him for yourself. I wanted to throttle him but also understand why Ophelia's conflict towards him caused so much pain - this love hurts. The bloody, raw, and painful emotions seen throughout their POVs have you wondering why they don't understand what the other is going through. There's such a thin line between love and hate, which is definitely explored in some dark ways here. I can't wait to see where Ophelia will go next in Equilibrium.

Ricochet by L.K. Reid is dark assassin romance. This is the first book in the Rapture series.

This book does come with a caution “This book is not recommended for readers under 18 as it contains triggering scenes that some readers might find offensive.”

This is Leila’s debut novel and she knocked it out of the park. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. There were so many twists and turns that kept me captivated until the very end. I really enjoyed that we got Kieran and Ophelia’s points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book does end on an amazing cliffhanger. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series Equilibrium that will be released on May 23, 2021.

I would highly recommend this book if you love dark romances, assassin romances, or romantic suspense. This is definitely one of my top reads so far this year!

Ricochet is L. K. Reid duet book and when I says holy hell she brings the dark sides just be ready. This has some tigger warning in the beginning taking it seriously. I have never said that before plus keep a open mind. Also make sure you have plenty of tissue around. Ricochet will be out every emotion you get.

I really love how Ricochet isn’t your typical dark romance. It was good to read a book where love sometime is not enough. If you look for a book that has a h.e.a this book is not for you.

L. K. Reid begin the Ricochet beautiful by introduction us to Ophelia and Kieran who is her brother best friend.

They have both struggle come to with their family is expecting them to do. And then in the middle of all the anguish that going they found love with each other. But they learn the hard that love can break everything. Nobody walks without hurting.

Ricochet will carry to the darkness. It has secret manipulation tragic and passion. L. K. Reid did such a wonderful job with the characters one point I love them so much and then I would be hate one of them.

But the the end of the book was so good. Definitely can’t wait for the next in this series.

This book is unique , dark , gritty and not for the faint of heart. Definitely check those triggers! It's fast paced with lots of action and twists , there is NEVER a dull moment. It  hooked me from the beginning and didn't let go. The romance is not typical and VERY toxic be prepared to be shocked when reading this book! I'm  so excited to read the rest of the series after that cliffhanger ending!

What the...mind...blown...

OK...I'm not sure how to describe this book... you knocked it out the park L.
The characters are just so complex and damaged and all so beautifully written you feel every emotion along with them. I am still in shock with how awesome the storyline in this book is and I can't wait to see Phee in Equilibrium and what she gets up to. I need it now L
