Based on the real life murder's committed by Ted Bundy. But, it is a fictional story that just follows Bundy's life and instead the focus is on the bright young women and their lives. The author is really taking the focus away from the serial killer and putting it on the victims, where the focus should be.

This was a quick, entertaining listen. Very well narrated, researched and paced. I knew a bit about Ted Bundy, but not about the sorority murders. As I neared the end of the book, I started researching which events were real and which were fabricated.
Normally I'm not really a fan of a fictionalized account of a real event, especially one that sticks so closely to the original source material, but Knoll did a great job developing the characters, giving them backstories and weaving them into a world that already existed.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys true crime.

For the love of all things holy, read this book! It’s captivating and a great commentary on the role of the media and the glorification of serial killers. Wonderfully written and not giving the killer a name throughout the book - I AM HERE FOR IT.
