This was much better than the other Doctor Strange story I read. I do enjoy Doctor Strange. I'm looking forward to the next movie
The mystic arts are where it's at. Loki has been instated at Sorcerer Supreme. No one can believe it. Stephan must fight to get his title back. He won the tournament and they still didn't give him the title. Stephen will do anything to get back his position and house.
I don't know what I think of Loki being Sorcerer Supreme. He does seem to have reformed, but you can never trust him

This collection returns the good Doctor to being almost the character I fell in love with. While the characterisation is MUCH better than Denis Hopeless's, it still misses the mark a little bit, but Donny Cates brings back the arrogance and "holier than thou" parts of his character.
The story is also a quite powerful one, as the Newsarama on the cover attests to. It's a great read and one character in particular will have you choking down sobs. While it doesn't quite get rid of the (in my opinion) annoying "magic has a price" trope it does push it in the background for the most part.
Finally, Strange is back on track.

Acabei de ler essa HQ (sim, só agora foi chegar nas bancas de Piracicaba).
Foi meu primeiro contato com o famoso Donny Cates, mas meu segundo com Stephen Strange, já que li o ótimo "O Juramento" e me surpreendi muito com tudo que foi apresentado aqui.
O Cates conseguiu trabalhar muito bem com o ego do Strange, usando a dualidade do Loki para gerar todas as intrigas da história.
Uma das coisas que mais gostei também foi que o Strange meio que tem um companion animal -- mais especificamente um cachorro fofinho chamado Bats que está sob um feitiço de tradução, fazendo dele um cachorro falante.
Espero de coração que a Panini não enrole pra lançar a continuação dessa história, porque há alguns leves cliffhangers deixados no final que acredito que serão trabalhados.

The whole plot was Stephen thinking Loki was going to do something bad... which Loki wasn’t going to do. It was good writing and the art style was really nice but the whole plot was both being jealous and not talking or trying to understand each other.
