This story sums up for me the Shakepeare quote : 'There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.'

Sam and Michael live in high country in Colorado. Sam has seen some weird things in Iraq when posted with a young native american man, which he shares with Michael.
However, it is when Sam and a deputy are in serious trouble after going to recover a body from the snow (tie a rope to your vehicle maybe!!) that all the connections and potentials come to light.
Whilst it is short and some leaps are needed, I did enjoy the otherness of this story.
