Lots of people really love this. It gets a lot of things right.
BUUUUUUT
two things I have against it
1. There is a lot of fluffy content and story telling and subtlety. I dont like subtle salvation.
2. This book, if I understand it properly is trying to make the gospel into the thing that we live in and by. However, love and the law are not contrary. Love looks like the law. The law is love in written form. Though we are free from its salvific/condemnatory obligation, we are to voluntarily walk in it for the sake of our neighbors, and in doing so we will walk in love.
