I enjoyed this story. The main characters were opposite but were good for each other.

Content: innuendo, passionate kissing, a couple swear words

A silly, kind of sweet romance. If you are looking for an easy read that doesn't require much effort, This may be for you. A quick read on a cool, rainy weekend afternoon.

A far fetched story to say the least, but they can often be entertaining. Troy and Cassie's fake engagement predictably results in real feelings.

The one thing I really did not like about this book was that Cassie's sister and her sister's husband suffered no repercussions from their behavior.

I received this book via Hidden Gems and voluntarily read and reviewed it.

This was an okay read for me. The writing itself wasn't bad, it flowed well, but the story itself was just a little too "sweet" for me. Cassie and Troy were good together, but I felt like Troy was using Cassie more than she was comfortable with. Even after she wanted to stop, he pushed her to do more. It took him a long time to see the light, so to speak. I also felt like there should have been more repercussions for Emily and Eric. Who does that to their sister, and then acts like it's no big deal? It was just like okay, moving on. I would recommend this book if you like more of the Harlequin kind of romance novels.

I love fake relationship tropes and I was interested in this from the beginning. It was predictable, typical opposites attract. It was short, I wish there was more to really see when their feelings changed because after a day they were somehow loving each other. Troy was the star of the book. Cute sweet romance, I may read the next book if it's free. I was surprised to see who the next book in the series is about because you dont even really know who that person is to care enough of his story.

What do you do when your family invades your life and pushes you to be in a relationship? You find a fiance for the night you meet with your family! Only thing - it doesn't work out quite like Cassie planned.

I really enjoyed this story. Cassandra needs a fiance to stop her family from meddling in her personal life. Troy was perfect for the job, and despite their differences, perfect for her. This story drew me in from the beginning and I enjoyed watching their romance turn from fake to real.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book and voluntarily provided this honest review.

Better than your “typical” fake engagement

Perhaps you know the plot, one of the characters needs a fiancé(e) to complete a goal.. and this isn’t far off base but it’s sweet and the characters connect-worthy. I’d definitely read more by this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

Cassandra is a free spirit and is totally against the normal of her family who are very wealthy and have a status to maintain. Troy is a straitlaced financial man who has his whole life planned out by years. Cassandra's family is pushing for her to get married and have babies when all Cassandra wants to do is be alone. Cassandra runs into Tony and asks him to be her fake fiance for a night. During that time it ends up getting extended by 2 weeks and engagement parties are in the making. I really liked the book except for the ending. Felt very rushed and no closure for me but I did like it.
