I feel like there's been more of a "progress" in this one, even though it still very slice-of-life snippets. I'm not sure I'll continue the series, or maybe just as a buffer between heavier book as it takes about 30min at most going through one of these, and Komi cuteness is refreshing.

The major complaint I have other than the "storyline" is not connecting everything together super strongly, and making me more interested in watching the anime than reading it, is that the whole perverts joke sometimes are just awkward and not that funny.

still love komi but the sexualization of high schoolers and overall weird stuff that are just Manga Genre Conventions is getting too much for me to keep tolerating it :c and like i get that the romance is also a genre convention and its like sweet and all that the guy's can understand her with just her nonverbal communication but i do NOT want them together hes SO bland GET AWAY FROM HER!!

A couple odd moments, but largely Vol. 3 is back to the funny, endearing social-awkwardness of Komi and her extended friend group.

It was so nice to get back to these characters and this series. This volume is focused a lot on how summer is going for Komi, and the summer activities she gets involved in. We also get to see more of her extended family here, which was a surprising addition! Not sure why I waited so long to continue reading.

This volume was a lot better than the first two. I’m grateful there was very little (in comparison) creepy or perverted comments aimed towards Komi. The bare minimum 🤦🏼‍♀️. Whilst Komi hung out with friends of a friend, she didn’t directly make any new friends. It was only in the bonus pages, that it was mentioned that she apparently made new friends even though she didn’t really communicate (ironically) with any new characters in this volume.
