the ending was so SAD :( also this may be a Me Issue since i’ve read (listened to 3 of these in a row) but the plot is getting a little bit formulaic. that being said, im still gonna finish the next 2

While I still thoroughly enjoyed the book, it was significantly inferior to the first two. The story was still beautiful, the characters lovable and complex and gave me lots of food for thought about people and life. I’d still recommend it but with the note that it was redundant. Background stories were repeated ad nauseam and many, many things were repeated. It was a bit exacerbating but each instance of repeating was super short  so it wasn’t possible to just skip over them (in an audio format) but they were over quickly. I wish those had been taken out and additional details about the situations were given instead.

All in all, I’d still recommend it to someone who enjoyed the first two books.
