Forerunner of just about every contemporary motivational speaker. Some helpful perspectives on the power of thought to shape your life. As a Christian I have adverse reactions to statements that suggest that the human spirit has all the power to shape one's destiny or redeem the world (e.g., "Dreamers are the redeemed of the world." p. 29).
