This was cute and I liked the concept of the adult summer camp. I found the ending to feel a bit forced at points and the writing style got a bit too cheesy imo. Definitely a good summer, poolside or beach read. Only one spicy scene really.

'"I fear beauty and power," I said. "I really do."
Dara made eye contact with Stevie, "She can't watch the Olympics. Too many talented, good looking people in the same room."'

Okayyy I loved this one. The whole “soulmate vision” thing really threw me, so I didn’t love that, but everything else was so wholesome and lovely. Characters were great, the family/found family & facing your fears themes were nice and well-crafted, and I really appreciate a low-conflict romance. Garland’s growth in terms of her view of relationships and life fulfillment was very well done — I was very upset with how she talked to Dara at first, but I’m glad they worked through it like they did. Loved the summer camp vibe and the sweet story 💕
