It's hard to see Tony being such a monster, but he's always been a little bit of a jerk so the leap isn't that hard. I do want my good ol' Stark the hero back soon though. Forging ahead to the next volume holding out hope his brain gets reset soon.

No tengo nada que decir sobre esta historia porque ya tenia una idea de lo que iba a ocurrir. Pero fue tan decepcionante que creo que soy muy amable con esta calificación.

It seems strange that this is my first foray into Iron Man comics, but I definitely enjoyed myself. The best part about it was, of course, Daredevil. (I need to get on with reading some of his comics. I love Matt's cameos so much!) Evil!Tony was a lot of fun. I wouldn't have minded Pepper or Maria Hill being in it more, though. Still, I'm interested to see where to story goes next. I'm not sure if I'm rooting for Tony to be good or not at this point. I guess, I'll have to read some plain Iron Man comics too to decide. :)

What happens to Tony after Axis? Actually it's just Iron Man being Iron Man. Well, he's even more egomaniac, but that's all.

Although the premise of this book sounded great to me I was a bit reluctant because the reviews weren't the best. But I have to say I was really positively suprised because I enjoyed this a lot. Even though Tony is more of an antihero (or even villain?) in this and he isn't really likeable and does some really questionable things, he is still unmistakably Tony Stark. He is just even more self-obsessed than usual, but he also still has sense of humor. I also really liked that Daredevil was in this too, he is sich a great contrast to Tony. I also liked the Extremis storyline. The one thing I wasn't too sure about was the Teen Abomination storyline... I also thought the art was good but nothing too special. I'm really curious how Superior Iron Man's story will continue...

During the events of the AXIS storyline, Tony Stark's personality kind of got re-set to "drunken asshole" with a side of villainous. (He's okay now.) These issues deal with his issues, and they're cleanly drawn, lavishly written and super entertaining. I've decided to get caught up with comics here at the end of the year, and this was my first stop.

A friend recommended this to me, and I'm glad she did. This shows a whole new side of Stark that I feel could be lying just underneath the surface of the superhero we've come to known and love.

The thing is... I'm not sure if I loved
This or hated it. It's evil Tony Stark which, as an Iron Man fan is hard to read. But it's believable. It's absolutely the kind of story you would tell if you were going to make Tony the bad guy. I just don't know if it is sustainable? How many issues of this can they produce before it gets annoying or before someone kills Stark? Guess we will see...
