Loved the characters and their abilities. Loved the true crime, murder mystery aspect. Short chapters, fasted paced. I flew through this book in 2 sittings. It did leave big unanswered questions in the end but it's a series so that's understandable. Was still fun. Big twist at the end!! 👍🏻
Graphic: Murder, Kidnapping, Child abuse, Blood, Gun violence, and Torture

I absolutely adored this book! It effortlessly drew me in with its smooth prose and kept me on the edge of my seat with its unexpected plot twists.
What initially intrigued me was the dual POV - Cassie's and the killer's - particularly the unique perspective of the killer written in the second person, which added an extra layer of suspense. Going in blind was the best thing I could have done
However, what truly captivated me was the theme of found family

This was just what I needed after a long break from books (that weren’t textbooks). I devoured this basically in one sitting. The pacing was immaculate, the plot was riveting and the plot twist was completely unexpected. But, I have to say, that the twist was also the weakest part of the plot. It was brilliantly hidden, but also almost didn’t make sense.
Anyway, now I’m mad, that I only bought the first part of this series, because I need more NOW. There’s just something so addicting in books about girls solving murders.
