A very sad beginning to a series, but still interesting. Honestly, I can't say much one way or the other about the story because it feels like it's barely gotten started!

a very promising start! i read this in one sitting and did not want to put it down. the art is lovely and i was not expecting the dark twist.

there’s some problems i had

like with the cousin bs (which shouldn’t be a thing anymore bc of the turn of events)

and how young the princess is but overall it’s still really interesting enough for me to want to continue

adventurous emotional sad tense fast-paced

In full disclosure, I only read this to fulfill StoryGraph’s genre challenge for manga. It’s not my go to genre. It was okay, I guess? The FMC was really annoying and just came off as weak, helpless, and besotted. I have zero interest in continuing the series (42 parts?!) so…yeah. Not for me.
