i may have been a little thrown off at the fact that yona is in love with her cousin....... but hopefully she gets past that because i'm invested in the yona x hak relationship now.

I liked this one and am already impatiently waiting for the second book to come off my holds list. The art is beautiful, and while the plot I don’t think really adds anything new to the genre, the way the story was delivered is engaging, leaving me wanting more!

This was a really good start to a long series. Great exposition, though I felt a bit uncomfortable about the relationship between Yona and her crush. I saw the mini twist coming, because I knew that said person is not going to be on Yona’s team in the rest of the series due to mild spoilers I heard. However, it was still a shock to see it happen and I feel deeply for Yona. Love Hak though, best dude.

DID NOT FINISH: 52%

Hard to read as a digital copy, there are a lot of scenes that are two pages, much too big for my Kindle Paperwhite's 6.8 inch screen so I couldn't full immerse myself into the world. Also the I'm madly in love with my first cousin, couldn't get with it.

I cried....?
