A good first volume! I'm interested in seeing where the story is going, which is essential to a good fist volume of the story. Yona is an intriguing protagonist, as are her relationships with Hak and Suwon. I won't lie, it was a bit of a jumpscare when she had a crush on her cousin, but lmao well... I also find it interesting that the characters have Korean names and this is (maybe?) a Korean setting.

I liked it, it was a solid reading. This is a good-3-stars-rating case.
The end of the first chapter was the highlight of this volume for me, the plot twist managed to caught me off guard.

And I'll continue the series.
