One of my favorites

It has been a long time since I have read the beginning of this story a very interesting yep emotionally charged start. I loved the characters especially Yona and Hak at first Yona is just a head strong but very naïve girl things are slowly changing she she had the shock of her life I like protective and caring Hak looking forward to where everything goes from here. I really enjoyed the story it starts with a sheltered but headstrong princess that has not a care in the world except to who she has feelings for before things go wrong and she has the shock of her life and the worst possible betrayal imaginable now she and Hak just have to escape looking forward to reading more.

This first volume of Yona of the Dawn is a great start with lots of action. It adds in quite the plot twist in the first couple of chapters. This really begins to build out Yona's character and start to set up where the story is headed.

This was such a good start to a series. I couldn't stop flipping the pages and I will be picking up volume 2 immediately.
