The plot was great. The romance on the other hand, not a fan of it. I tried to ignore it for most of the time. It was definitely worth it though. It's a good book especially if you like a love triangle and a bit of romance with your mystery. It (the romance) just wasn't my cup of tea.

Amazing start to the series. I read this because I liked inheritance games, but I love this series a lot more. I hate love triangles but I couldn’t complain because this group dynamic was just so amazing. I love Cassie as a POV character and I love dean because he is so perfect for her. The plot was jam-packed and very engaging. Their friendship is so amazing, everyone in this group gave so much. Usually when there are side characters I get annoyed because I don’t want to hear about them and I have to skip thru it, but this series is amazing start to finish and I love all the characters.

5 stars! To think I picked this book up on a whim, I was unable to stop thinking about it even after I'd gone to bed to get some sleep. SO GOOD!!

Cassie's personality and character were so different, even with her back story, you wanted to see what was going to happen- what would happen to her. I even liked almost all the other characters (well, mostly) Lia was annoying....

The book hinted a lot about Sloane, Micheal, and Lia's backstories- but we really only got Dean's and Cassie's in this first book. I definitely will be reading every. single. book. in this. series.

THAT ENDING!!! I COULD NOT PREDICT A SINGLE THING IN THIS BOOK!! AHHH, I NEED MORE!!!!!!
