Book review!

I really didn’t know what to expect from this. The title seems very formal and technical but it was a great story. A detective story with a difference.
The thought of time travel is fascinating and this really does make a good go at it. It’s completely believe-able and also blows your. mind.
Even though the books flicks through the years it’s easy to keep up with what is happening.
A fabulous story that all comes together in the end and leaves you feeling very satisfied.

I really really liked this book! It was inventive and immersive.

I am astonished with how the author managed to keep so many timelines running simultaneously. It parcelled up very nicely too!

A strong 4 stars

Really wonderful book! Just difficult to keep track of people, their relationships to each other, and the dates haha

I liked:
- the philosophical explorations of death/love/justice/morality etc. brought about by time travel
- nonchalant queer romance

I did not like:
- how one-dimensional the villain was; it would have been much more interesting if she had at least some redeeming qualities
- the confusing time-travel mechanics that my brain chose to gloss over instead of try to understand (maybe that speaks more to my current level of mental energy than anything else, though)

DID NOT FINISH

DNF: Unfortunately, this book just wasn't for me. I couldn't get into the story and after around 20% of me just not getting into it, I had to call it quits. I can see the appeal for a lot of people but it just wasn't my jam.
