This book was a wild ride. From start to finish I was hooked, trying to guess every possible outcome. The characters, especially Bee and Ruby, were so lovable and I immediately became attached to them. Throughout the book I was rooting for them, ngl.
The way the book was written; shortish chapters, each in a different characters pov, in a different point in time, was probably my favorite part. It made the book a fast read, which is always amazing. And the fact that it was a fast read but still was a good 4/5, blew my mind even more. Towards the end you feel like you know what’s happening, and you can make a pretty good guess. Me personally, I thought, “oh I know for sure what’s gonna happen”, and then BOOM: Mind. Blown.
I cried from happiness /only/, thankfully, but definitely recommend this book. It will have you guessing and yearning for answers.

It only took me a day to read this book because I read it in every waking moment I had while at a conference and was supposed to be “networking”. I think that reflects how bloody good this book is. As a psychologist myself the themes related to psychology were really satisfying but even without that connection it was so moreish. I want a million books set in this universe.
