The second book of the Game of the Gods series does not disappoint. More Angels join Kita's forces - some from the life she's gradually remembering and some that she creates (although there are a couple of people I wish she would have turned into Angels that she didn't). This book delves further into the chaotic world of Kita's mind. More so than book one, it explores her role as the God of Evil. She's done some terrible things but even she has a threshold she won't cross. I admire her kindness towards her friends, soldiers, and lovers, yet I cringe at some of her decisions. I look forward to the point when she's remembered all of her past and the fully-fledged Kita is back.
