Thank-you to Simon & Schuster, NetGalley, and TJ Alexander for the eARC!

Okay I won't lie, I was a bit leery at first because the first book in this series was, unfortunately, a bit of a let-down for me. However, I LOVED the concept of this one and, since I didn't DISLIKE the first one, decided to give this a shot and MAN am I glad I did!

This was everything I was hoping for and more. I loved both the MCs (which could not be said for CHEF'S KISS, unfortunately) and was thoroughly entertained with all their antics.

If the series continues — and I hope it does! — I will definitely be checking out future instalments. ◡̈

I loved this queer romance. It had some of my favorite tropes (fake dating and forced proximity/one bed), a cooking competition to win an inheritance, and a kick-ass climactic monologue! Throw in some longing and some spice and you’ve got a recipe for success.

This was a sweet & fun follow-up to Chef’s Kiss! The premise is a bit ridiculous with Jean-Pierre having to complete an elaborate cooking challenge set forth by his grandfather in order to inherit, but it was a lot of fun to see him & Luna train for it. And I especially loved the actual challenge scene. Luna was such a ray of positivity & light & she was a lot of fun. Jean-Pierre grew on me after seeing him interact with Luna for a bit, but I did like them as a couple in the end & they definitely had an opposites attract thing going on. I liked getting cameos from Chef’s Kiss characters as well.
