I enjoyed reading this book. It was an easy, quick read with an insightful perspective on how we think about what wealth is and how we use money. Hill gives some great introductory tips on money management: creating a smart money contract, tracking spending as "necessities" vs "unnecessary expenditures", and thinking about how you felt you were spending money (a great discussion on emotional spending).

I think this would be a great present for a young adult planning for college or getting ready to graduate. The book really helps you think about the value we have placed on money instead of how we can use money as a tool to fuel our passion and sustain our health.

Solid Read. Hill Harper did a great job of weaving the connectedness that finances have on all aspects of life. Provided several nuggets of wealth to consider on your quest for true wealth which is the ability to live life fully.

I'm not the type of person that looks at another person's life and thinks "oh that is what I should do in mine" because there are too many variables between ME and YOU. Part of that could be why I truly did not enjoy this book. But, being that it is a finance book- I rate it differently then I do fiction books. Having read other financial books, I am accustomed to them being REALLY annoying.

So, I would recommend this book but I would also recommend skipping a large percentage of the book because it often reads as a biography. His "stories" are long. In fact, many of them were better off not in the book. But, that is very common in fiction books. It's someone who has wanted to write a book writing all the books they've ever wanted to write in one book. It's fluff.

This is a very fluffy finance + wellness book.
