Willow and Clay meet after Clay helped her one night from a bar. He’s this mysterious knight in shining armor. He’s just looking to protect and revenge the death of his sister. These two from the start had a magnetic pull towards each other. I did appreciate how she took the time to get to know him and him her before anything started. Loved how we got see her dad again Nico in this. Loved the OG characters that we get to revisit. Mix in a little bit of mystery of whodunnit. This was a cute story. Another great one to add to the series.

I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

Very enjoyable! I loved Willow and Clay....they fit so well together. The murder was a great secondary situation. Love Skye!

Fast-Paced, Easy, Spicy Read

I’m doing this series completely backwards; after reading and LOVING the ARC of Before We Fall, I jumped down the Aurora Rose Reynolds rabbit hole.

Willow keeps getting herself into precarious situations; Clay seems to show up at just the right time to save her. Throughout all this, playboy Clay and flighty Willow end up falling equally hard for each other.

This book is fast-paced and was such an easy, spicy read with an ending that give you all the good feels. 💕

The twist at the end was an unexpected and great addition to this book!

I still don't absolutely love this book, but I did have more fun reading it this time around.
I think with my previous read through I was trying to be more critical with my ratings. Now I rate books based on what I feel when reading them, not what I think I should be feeling.

--------------------------------

This is my least favourite installment of this series. I did not absolutely love the characters or the story. It felt pretty slow to me. But I am happy I read it.
The series as a whole is really good. I love that not one of the books was purely romance but that there was always a suspenseful sub-plot.
Hopefully ARR will finish the series strong with the last three cousins.

Good story.
J/pull Hero.
The story starts with the heroine on a date with her boyfriend and she decides to call it quits.
She has a history of dating a lot, not having sex with them but ending the relationship as it's not working then becoming their friend, walking their dog, meeting once a month for a meal etc.
During the book the Hero meets several of them, and that's quite funny.

The Hero is previously described as a player, no woman sticks, the accusation comes from his 'brother' as the brother's wife made an accusation that he was intimate with her. The Hero says she threw herself at him and he turned her down.

There is mention of sex trafficking, a missing girl and a past traumatic history for the Hero.

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.

HEA.
Epilogue.

Lots of Mayson scenes and possible introduction of the Hero's family for books.

This book is about Willow and Clay's love story.
The stroy and a plot were pretty good. Until Willow gives us some unexpected suspense for the very beginning, which I loved, but because of this I was hesitant to trust ANY of the characters.

Another fantastic book by Aurora Rose Reynolds! I loved this one so much!!! I loved Willow and Clay! I think Clay will be added to my ever growing book boyfriend list! I was hooked from the moment I started this one. I didn’t want to put it down! If life didn’t get in my way it would of been a one sit read for sure! My only complaint about this book is that it ended! I wasn’t ready for it to end! This book is a true standalone in the series. It can be read in any order! Although they are all amazing! I definitely recommend this one and the others!

Received a arc for a honest review.
