I’ve read and loved several of this authors books. I had the audiobook read by Reba Buhr who made listening an enjoyable experience.

Psychological suspense, we get the story from several perspectives ( I don’t want to go into too much detail to avoid spoilers) including socially awkward Chloe who enjoys people watching especially Adam and Jemma two of Chloe’s new neighbours.

Chloe’s character is well crafted you really feel the awkwardness in her, and the vibes she gives off, through her we hear her mother’s dominating voice. Adam and Jemma are certainly interesting characters!

This is full of secrets, lies and murder mixed in with the desperate need to belong. I loved it, certainly one of my favourites from this author.

This book is tedious. The plot is shallow, and I don’t like how the author constantly explains every character's point of view. If the author gives us all this information, what is left for the reader to guess?

This book was a little frustrating. I think some parts were super suspenseful and captivating, but other parts were so predictable and boring. Overall, I just wanted more from it. I wanted more from Jemma's character to be honest. There was a whole past that we never got to explore. Same with Chloe's past.

A bit of the Woman in the Window style book but still a really solid read with all the right twists
