I managed to finish this one in two days. More twisted than I expected it to be, which is a good thing. The only thing I was a little uncomfortable with was the use of mental illness to drive the plot forward, which is getting to be an overdone trope, however the author did good by the character towards the end, so in this case it could be forgiven.

Around page 100 this book really started to hit its stride! It’s a domestic thriller that investigates motherhood and complicated family dynamics and standing up for yourself. But I kept me on my toes and held my attention throughout an entire airplane ride. Each character felt deeply flawed and deeply human which i loved. It’s quite sad at times though and TW for s*xual assualt.
