4. Maybe 3.5. The story centers about the serious issue of addiction and it conveys the warring emotions pretty good. Robin and Alana bring interesting problems into their budding romance and I liked reading about their way of dealing with them.

In the end it felt like the opening to a bigger story, maybe a sequel was planned. Maybe a series about other peoples agencys and how our new couple deal with them.

What does the world need today you ask. I'm going to tell you. It's this light hearted, fun with a dash of heat tale of a vampire's foray into breaking her addiction to o negative blood. Our vampire Robin decides to join AA for answers and finds a sponsor, Alana who leaves them both tingling. Their journey to each other includes disapproving family and dealing with AA 12 step program. It's not angsty as a story like this could be and that is what I like about this book. 5 stars for highly entertaining and well written fun.

Honestly, once you compare someone's eyes to the sunshine reflecting off the surface of the Mediterranean Sea, there is no hope for your book.

3.5 Rounded to 4.
For the length, I really need something to start (not instalove or sex) like a kiss before the 60% mark? It was a lot of back and forth scenes. It was a little frustrating because they are both mythical beings but neither one could tell something was off? I understand they were enamored with each other and they really were a cute couple. I'm glad it didn't end in a cliffhanger!
